The p53 Gene Provide Protection Against CancerGenetic Scientists claim to have discovered a missing link which explains how a cell works to defend against cancer. This would be the p53 gene with the capacity to block or not the development of cancerous tumors. This discovery is a good step in the treatment and diagnosis of cancer.This research has just been published in "Genes and Development"
